US Rockets Expendable Motors
US Rockets D12 Motors
20D12 motors which are the same size as popular Estes 16.2D12 motors.
The ILP method (20D12) describes a motor with power in Newton-seconds,
the NAR letter class, and the average thrust in Newtons. There are
4.45 Newtons per pound and a motor with 20 N-s power and 12N
thrust burns for 20/12=1.67 seconds.

Many motors are made from the same size casing.

Delay times are 4, 8 seconds and plugged, i.e.: E25-8 or E25-P. Firestarter TM Delay times are 4, 8 seconds,
i.e.: F29-4FS. "ILP Method" = 70F29-4-FS; 70= total impulse Newton seconds, F= NAR letter class,
29= Average thrust Newtons, 4= delay time from burnout to ejection in seconds, FS= propellant read,
FirestarterTM. Average thrust figures over 50 N available with a 12 second delay,
i.e.: F100-12. All motors include 12 volt electrical igniter.

Testimonials and Product usage
U.S. Rockets Firestarter propellant

Your Firestarters are still by far the best sparky motors I have ever had the pleasure to use, especially the bigger ones.
