Large Sport Series 2
RAPIER
|
|

RAPIER
is a design inspired by Bill Barber and his need for a motor
configuration test vehicle with crowd pleasing styling. Rapier
is well suited to serious research due to the large payload
capacity and good altitude performances. A relatively flat
optimum weight matrix allows addition of payload weight with
limited altitude penalty and even altitude improvements with
higher power motors.

| RAPIER
38mm motors were INTRODUCED to HPR by U.S. Rockets.
38mm has become the primary motor size of choice in HPR. My how
times have changed with reloadables and with hybrids to add to
the mix of time tested and convenient expendable solids. RAPIER has
kept up to date by supporting ANY length motor. The use of 38mm
center and dual 24mm outers allows mixed thrust motors to be
used such as 38mm I70-12 and 2 24mm G35-8, or 38mm I220 and 2
G140-12, or 38mm J220-12 and 2 24mm F24-FS!
